Meet Our Team
April Brackett is the Owner and CFO of AComfort. Her family has been in the HVAC business for more than 40 years.
Prior to officially joining AComfort as CFO in 2017, April spent 30 years in the banking and finance industry while simultaneously managing the back office and accounting for her family’s HVAC business. In 2019, she became AComfort’s owner. During her finance career, April attended many supervisor and management classes.
Raised in Georgia, April currently lives in Griffin. Her goal is to turn AComfort into a household name; “Your Comfort Company.” HVAC advice to customers – Just like you keep your vehicle tuned up, it’s just as important to keep your unit tuned up twice a year for the best performance
Lead Service Technician
Chris Mitchell, HVAC-certified lead service technician, joined AComfort in January of 2014.
With more five years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, Chris has earned his state HVAC Universal certifications in addition to EPA and OSHA 10 certifications. He graduated from Southern Crescent Technical College with a degree in HVAC.
Chris was born and raised in Griffin. An active dirt bike rider and outdoorsman, his favorite part of the job is helping customers

Shad Stephens, HVAC-certified service technician, joined AComfort in October of 2013.
Shad has more and five years of experience HVAC installation and maintenance. He graduated from Southern Crescent Technical College with a degree in HVAC, and is OSHA and EPA certified.
Born in Atlanta, Shad now lives in Thomaston. He enjoys bowling, shooting and hunting.

Katelyn, office clerk, joined the AComfort team in August of 2012.
Katelyn attends Georgia Southwestern State University where she is working toward a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Human Resources and Management.

Joined AComfort in 2019 as a Helper. Chris is currently enrolled in HVAC school.
